PLANTING
One of the distinguishing characteristics of our artichokes is the variety we cultivate, called the Alcachofa Blanca de Tudela, or ‘Tudela White Artichoke’. The Tudela White is highly valued because it is rounder, smoother and sweeter than other species and contains minimal ‘choke’, the fine fibers found just above the artichoke’s heart.
We use cuttings from the same healthy plants we have been cultivating for more than 30 years while many other producers often use low quality, genetically modified hybrid seeds designed for mass production.
